It’s not even that great.
I don’t see why people like rock, it’s not even that great.
I don’t see why people like hip-hop, it’s not even that great.
I don’t see why people like classical, it’s not even that great.
It’s just another genre, not a fucking movement people ._.
Because dubstep and DnB is amazing (:
I feel so blessed to be able to work with this new-to-be freshman class of St. Josephs. Never before have I seen a class so connected from a regular school. Unfortunately I won’t be able to be with them tomorrow, but God is truly within them. And I wish them all best of luck. But I really have to say that Jon puts on the best program that I have ever seen!
What are temptations? Although many people mistake them with sins, they are different. We temptation is usually what urges us to do something wrong. So, if we don’t HAVE to follow temptations, and are not forced to do them, why do we do it? “The bottom line is this: You have to choose not to sin. That’s not as simple as it sounds. The truth is that we enjoy sin. But the pleasure we get from sinful acts comes not from Satan but from God. Sin takes God’s pleasures and distorts them for ungodly purposes. They are devastating shortcuts and temporary highs.”- Bob Rice. Notice that no one goes through life without falling for temptation. No matter how small it is, it still is a sin. In Luke 4, Jesus resists Satan’s temptations, no matter how hard he tries. But Jesus IS GOD, and it is not easy for us children of God to resist temptation. But God does not leave us, he will guide us and help steer us away from temptations. “Because he himself was tested through what he suffered, he is able to help those who are being tested”-Hebrews 2:18 The nice thing about temptations though, is that you can avoid them all together. For example, if you are invited to a party, and you know there is gonna be alcohol, and lets say you know you will get drunk, don’t go, avoid the temptation. Fortunately God has the power to rid us of any sins we make. Although turning down a temptation is hard, we all can do it!
